After 40 years of tireless and caring attention to the animals, and their owners, John and Shelley Ward have closed their veterinarian clinics at Lakes Entrance and Metung.
Their last day will be today. The couple has put in a very busy last few weeks with animal owners getting their pets checked over one last time and stocking up on treatments.
They have unsuccessfully tried to find a vet to take over the business.
