A chorus of voices are rising in Metung for an outdoor swimming pool to be built somewhere in close proximity to the village.
While Metung is surrounded by water, there is nowhere to swim laps and many serious about swimming are forced to travel to Lake Entrance.
The vision for an outdoor pool, with views over the Gippsland Lakes, is being mooted as a drawcard for tourists, similar to Sydney’s iconic Bondi Baths.
