The Hobie Fishing Series 15 Australian Championship is now only a matter of weeks away, with Lakes Entrance angler Steven Pryke looking to defend the title he won at Mallacoota 12 months.
Pryke will go into the event at Camden Haven in New South Wales from November 14-17 high on confidence after solid recent efforts in several events held in the East Gippsland region.
Pryke will also be buoyed by the exciting news coming for Hobie fishing this week with the early events in next year’s series 16 to be held practically in his backyard.
In a coup for the region, round one will be held at Lake Tyers on February 26-27, with round two taking in the beautiful Bemm River from March 1-2.
Both will bring great economic benefits to the region, and an opportunity to showcase everything that is great about where we all live.
