St Brendan’s Catholic Parish will be hosting a Carol event ‘Keeping Christ in Christmas’ at their Lakes Entrance church on Friday, December 13, with everyone welcome to attend.
Other churches within the Lakes Entrance district have also been invited to attend and choose some carols to sing.
“As this is a once a year event we will put the words to the carols on a screen so everyone can sing along,” one of the organisers Joan Micah said.
“This is a free event, but we will have a Christmas Giving Tree set up on the night where nonperishable food can be donated. This food will be forwarded to the Saint Vincent de Paul Lakes Entrance Assistance Centre for distribution.”
The carols begins at 7pm at the church and Joan encourages all to attend this Christian-based event.
