Paul Etheridge led the field home in last Saturday’s Lakes Entrance parkrun.
The event saw 26 participants chose to complete the five kilometres in a run, walk or jog.
Southern Peninsula Sports Club, Lakes and District Runners, Australia Post Group and Raring2Run were all represented.
Etheridge completed the course in 21 minutes and 20 seconds, finishing ahead of Michael Wilmott (22.51) and David Salisbury (23.56), Salisbury registering a personal best time.
The first woman home was Bryanna Foster, in fourth place overall, in a time of 24 minutes and 26 seconds.
Others to record personal bests included Tim Hayward (24.49) and Bec Voss (31.02).
There have been 270 editions of the Lakes Entrance parkrun, with the fastest time ever recorded still being Eric Ueda’s effort on News Years Eve in 2022.
Ueda ran a staggering 16 minutes and six seconds.
