17s outstanding

29 June 2024
in Sport

It was another great win for Lakes Entrance in under 17 East Gippsland netball last Saturday against Orbost Snowy, which sees the Seagulls sitting second on the ladder and poised a tilt at premiership glory.
Orbost Snowy took the match up to the Seagulls early as Lakes struggled for their usual connection and movement through, but some vital intercepts and some quality passing just prior to half time saw the half time margin blow out seven goals.
The Blues battled hard but the Seagulls drew away to impressively win by nine goals, with Makayla Grabham, Tayla Mills and Tilly Richardson named in the best by the coaching panel.
Orbost Snowy was much too good in the under 15s, winning by 19 goals. Alyssa Witham and Emily O’Donnell among the best for the Seagulls.
