Surf Life Saving Lakes Entrance is celebrating a major achievement after securing multiple finalist spots in the upcoming Life Saving Victoria (LSV) Awards of Excellence.
Club member Jess Woodward has been shortlisted as a finalist for the prestigious Graeme Long Volunteer of the Year award, while Jason Johansson is in the running for Masters Athlete of the Year.
Additionally, the Gippsland Development Course has been named a finalist for the Dr Nigel Taylor AO ESM Innovative Achievement of the Year.
The LSV Awards of Excellence recognise outstanding contributions to community safety, lifesaving services, and aquatic sports across the state, honouring volunteers, clubs, and professionals alike.
The 2026 awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, August 15, at The Pullman in Albert Park, Melbourne.
