Get ready to lace up your shoes and pound the pavement, the Metung Fun Run is back for another year on Sunday, November 9.
Powered by the HIIT Factory Bairnsdale, the annual event is an annual fundraiser for the Metung Primary School, which is supported by the Lions Club of Metung.
This year, you can again choose from the following events:
– 10km run
– 5km run
– 5km walk
– 1km kids’ colour dash
The event kicks off at the Metung Village Green, with the Kids’ Colour Dash starting at 8.30am.
The 10km and 5km runs will both commence at 9am, followed by the 5km walk at 9.15am.
The 2024 event turned out to be one of the biggest ever, with almost 400 people taking part in the 14th instalment of the event, raising more than $16,000.
The Metung Fun Run is a key community event that brings people together to get active, enjoy the outdoors, and support local causes.
