Victoria Police have reported that eight people have been arrested in relation to two incidents in Lakes Entrance last week.
It is alleged an affray occurred on Myer Street around 6pm on Friday, September 19, with further antisocial behaviour on Rules Road on Sunday, September 21.
Five males and two females aged between 19 and 50 from Lakes Entrance and Toorloo Arm have since been arrested.
They were charged with multiple offences including affray, criminal damage, assault with a weapon and possessing a prohibited weapon.
Another 30-year-old Lakes Entrance man was charged with affray, possession of a controlled weapon and threatening to inflict serious injury and remanded in custody.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances around these two incidents and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
