The 10th anniversary of the annual Lakes Entrance Netball Association beach netball competition was won by the Phillipson Heatwaves.
The competition attracted 12 mixed teams from across Victoria, who were split into two groups, with each team playing five preliminary rounds, with the top two in each group progressing to the semi-finals.
Phillipson Heatwaves defeated Gotcha in one semi,
with Salty Nibbles defeating Redlegs Legends in the other semi.
Phillipson Heatwaves proved too good for Salty Nibbles in the grand finale.
The weather, while windy at times, was perfect for the event with the sun shining on the exciting action.
