Lakes Entrance Action and Development Association (LEADA) is on the hunt for new members to get involved in varying capacities within the committee or be active on a sub committee that may be of interest to them.
Chairperson of LEADA, Alison Brewer, hopes to see new faces on the committees, which will allow some older members who have served in top positions for a long time to happily step aside.
“It is good for the association to change office bearers once every three years or so and take on roles within the committees,” Alison said.
Alison only took over the role as chairperson to relieve Bruce Hurley from the position after many years.
“It would be nice to see more people joining LEADA, we have had some younger women join which has been fantastic, but we need to get a few more. These ladies are running businesses of their own so it would be good to spread the load.
