AFL Hall of Famer, and sports TV personality, Sam Newman, and his friend Sue Stanley, pulled into Lakes Entrance last week for a couple of days break on the high seas after nearly six months travelling up and down the east coast in Sam’s cruiser Angst.
On their voyage Sam championed the prostate cancer organisation he is alined with, Rule Prostate Cancer.
Away from his home base in Melbourne, Sam produced an entertaining commentary of his adventures (via YouTube, Instagram and his podcast, You Cannot Be Serious) at sea and his experiences along the way.
While in port at Lakes Entrance Sam and Sue visited Metung and Bairnsdale to eat and do a little shopping as well as cruising the Gippsland Lakes with Captain James Peel of Peels Cruises, where Sam no doubt picked up some nautical knowledge and professional tips on the Gippsland Lakes.
