Lakes Entrance RSL Sub-branch’s Remembrance Day service was well supported on Monday morning.
A crowd of more than 100 locals attended the cenotaph to hear the address from RSL vice president Peter Tunnage, while Lieutenant Commander Mike Wisniewski, of the Royal Australian Navy was the guest speaker.
Members of the HMS Ganges Naval group were on hand while wreaths were laid be returned service personnel, the Australian and New Zealand flags were raised before the performing of the Last Post.
