Four highly regarded identities will be speaking tomorrow night at Lakes Entrance Action and Development Association’s (LEADA) town meeting and annual general meeting at the Central Hotel.
Federal MP Darren Chester MP, East Gippsland Shire chief executive officer Fiona Weigall, FLOAT organiser Andrea Lane and LEADA’S Bruce Hurley will be the speakers.
They will give their views on the town’s progress over the past 12 months and the priorities for Lakes Entrance for the next few years.
The public will have the opportunity to ask questions and join the conversation..
“It’s a chance for people to join in the discussion on what’s important for Lakes Entrance in the near future,” LEADA president Boyd McPhee said.
LEADA will have its AGM prior to the town meeting from 7pm to 7.30pm. At the AGM the annual report and financial statements will be presented and the committee for the coming year will be elected. LEADA is always looking for new members to have input into the towns growth.
“I’d encourage all local residents and business owners to come along to both meetings,” Boyd McPhee said.
