Federal Parliamentarian Darren Chester has long had an obsession with running and last weekend he completed his 18th Melbourne Marathon.
Carrying a few old war wounds, Chester crossed the line in just over five hours.
Chester is regularly seen running arouns the foreshore at Lakes Entrance when not in parliament, competing in weekly parkruns at home and wherever he may be at the time.
