Lakes Entrance Action and Development Association (LEDA) will hold its annual general meeting and town meeting on Thursday, October 24 at the Central Hotel.
The annual general meeting will take place at 7pm and be chaired by Boyd McPhee. The business of this meeting is to receive the annual report and annual financial statements and to elect LEADA’s committee for the following year.
The town meeting will be chaired by Jeff Wilson and be held from 7.30pm to 8.30pm with refreshments available.
A panel will outline its views on priorities for Lakes Entrance in the next few years. Questions from the floor to panel members will be encouraged. Questions with notice can be sent via email to LEADA by Sunday, October 20, and will be asked first.
The panel will consist of East Gippsland Shire Council chief executive officer Fiona Weigall, FLOAT organiser Andrea Lane, LEADA Business and Tourism chairperson, Alison Brewer, and LEADA Infrastructure chairperson Bruce Hurley.
If you are unable to attend the AGM, a proxy form is available at LEADA’s website.
Nominations are sought for the seven elected positions on LEADA’s committee. Members are encouraged to nominate, with nominations closing at noon on October 17.
You can join LEADA, pay your annual donation and find out more information by visiting LEADA’s website.
Membership forms, proxy forms and nomination forms are also on the website.
