Jett Knur made it two consecutive victories in the Lakes Entrance parkrun last Saturday, leading the field home in 19 minutes and 12 seconds.
Jett Knur finished over three minutes ahead of second-placed, Shaun Campbell (22.23), while the winner’s father, Ashly Knur, was third in 23 minutes and 26 seconds.
The first woman over the line was Peta Bassett in 25 minutes and 48 seconds.
The event saw 29 competitors brave the blustery conditions, included in
the field were seven first timers, while the fourth runner home, Brendan McPhan, ran a personal best time.
Runnez, Nobby’s Nutcases and Lakes and District Runners were all represented.
The weekly parkrun commences at 8am, every Saturday from the rotunda on the foreshore.
