The Paynesville Coast Guard have been busy dumping Oscar, the crash test/training dummy in the water at Newlands Arm so our the crew could practice rescuing him.
Also on the agenda were winching and cranes, CPR, stokes litter stretcher and patient transfer training.
The Paynesville Football Netball Club will host tracksuit trivia on Saturday night from 7pm.
At 12pm this Sunday, St. Andrew’s Uniting Church will hold a soup and sandwich lunch followed by an afternoon of Crazy Whist which is an easy novelty card game anyone can play.
This will be held in Wesley Hall, Browning St., Orbost, and the split system heater will be going to make it cosy and warm. There will be lots of prizes and mixing around, in fact it will be a great social afternoon.
Following the card game we will enjoy afternoon tea – all for $10 per head.
All the food will be home made with two delicious soups, ideal for this cold winter weather. Anyone is very welcome.
