Lakes Entrance – Around Gippsland

The grand opening of the Old Slipway Redevelopment will take place today from 12.30pm.
Funded by the State, Federal Government, and East Gippsland Council, this project brings new life to a historic site.
Redevelopment highlights include:
–     New tiered deck over the slipway
–     Renovated historic winch sheds
–     Public access amenities
–     Resurfaced bitumen area
–     Upgraded onsite power
The Gippsland Lakes Complete Health (GLCH) report that you may have seen people wearing green sunflower lanyards, signalling they might need an extra hand or a little more time due to a hidden disability.
Now white sunflowers are now on show, a small symbol with a big message: understanding, support, and the reminder that not every disability is visible.
This week, the fabulous customer service squad is proud to add the sunflower supporter pin to their lanyards, indicating they understand and support the sunflower and people with hidden disabilities.
