A smaller than normal field of 31 runners/joggers/walkers competed in the weekly Lakes Entrance parkrun last Saturday morning.
The five-kilometre event was led home by local personal trainer, Adam Evans, in 19 minutes and 28 seconds.
The first female home was Isla Cooper in a respectable 24 minutes.
Events like parkruns are operated by volunteers, with this week’s event was assisted by Alison Doucette, Chris Marshall, Emma Daly, Jenny De Freitas, Kirsten Daly, Ruba Tivendale, Sarah Ketting, Shane Hutton, Suzanne Spicer and Wendy Dunstan.
The run starts at 8am every Saturday at the Lakes Entrance Rotunda, with new participants, both local and visiting most welcome.
