The Tuesday night tennis competition at Lakes Entrance Tennis Club has been thriving in 2024, with a growing cohort of friendly tennis enthusiasts taking to the court.
The term two competition was finalised last week with a tight grand final played between The Al’s Mel and Jess’ and Smashed As.
The match was evenly poised at two sets apiece, going into the final two sets, with Al’s team coming away with the biscuits.
Alec and Jason’s casual nature wasn’t fooling anyone, with some fine rallies on show for the onlookers.
While the Tuesday tennis is always enjoyable, it’s the social side of things that really had club members smiling, pizzas going down a treat with some celebratory beverages.
The term three competition will commence on July 16 at 6pm, with lots of laughs guaranteed in the mixed graded competition played in teams of four.
Each player plays three doubles sets to six, with new players encouraged to join.
