Kristina Madigan, who usually runs her Yoga by Kristina on the foreshore on a Saturday, has moved indoors over the winter period.
Yoga classes are now held upstairs at the RSL every Saturday morning at 9.30am and there is still a lovely view to be enjoyed.
Kristina wants to let the public know of the benefits of yoga to strengthen bones.
“Osteoporosis isn’t just an old lady disease,” Kristina said.
“Don’t wait until it’s a problem to do something about it. Habits you put in place right now, such as doing yoga, can have an impact on the strength of your bones later on.
“If you already have osteoporosis, yoga can help prevent more bone loss happening as bones need to be consistently placed under a little positive stress to stay healthy.
“Everybody is welcome to come to my yoga sessions with the cost being $15 per person,” she said.
