Cafe Aroma in Metung has been sold and will rebirth as Aroma Metung.
New owners, Efthemia and Stellios Savva, recently moved from Notting Hill in Melbourne to Metung to take over the popular eatery.
Stellios said having run a pizza/wine bar in Hawthorn for many years, they had had enough of the “fast pace and smog”.
“COVID amplified that life is too short, so we decided to make the move to a sea-change,” he said.
The couple bought a house in Metung about 18 months ago without even looking at it.
