A game-changing new $8 million indoor sporting stadium for Lakes Entrance will be delivered in partnership with East Gippsland Shire Council (EGSC) if the Nationals are elected to form government this November.
State Nationals MP, Tim Bull says a $4 million co-investment will see a much-needed three court multi-purpose playing arena that will boost sporting participation and keep pace with the growing population and high demand in Lakes Entrance.
Once completed, the revamped sports complex will provide a wide range of opportunities for sporting groups to keep active and enjoy the social interaction that comes with playing sport.
“We have listened to the Lakes Entrance community and understand the current facilities are inadequate and need upgrading to meet current safety standards and that of a growing community into the future,” Mr Bull said.
