Lakes Entrance Newsagency is thrilled a Lakes Entrance woman has won first division in Tattslotto recently.
The winner attributed her $1,428,579.98 victory to her late brother’s beloved pet bird after telling the cockatiel she wouldn’t have to rehome it if she won division one.
Confirming her win with an official from The Lott, the mother of two relayed how the sublime win came about.
“I’m a bit nervous,” the happy winner said.
“The most I’ve ever won is $40,000, and I thought that was life-enhancing. I’d checked the winning numbers and I couldn’t believe it.
“I went down to the local newsagency to confirm the win and they said, ‘I knew you’d win it’.
