The Lakes Entrance Lantern Festival, which is organsied and run by LEADA Events in conjunction with East Gippsland Winter Festival, will be held on Saturday, June 25, with all funds raised going towards Lakes Entrance New Year’s Eve Festival.
The program is packed with food and market stalls from 2pm through to 9pm. There will also be a stall selling lanterns and glow products, for those who haven’t been able to make their own lanterns, from 2pm to 6pm. Lanterns include a globe and stick handle in assorted colours.
The Lantern Parade will take place after 6pm, meeting at the rotunda. Local CFA units will be leading the parade with their torches and there will be a light show at the start of the footbridge.
Rug up head along and enjoy the fun of this fantastic Lantern Parade, the third to be held in Lakes Entrance, with a couple of years of COVID in between.
