After a long renovation period The Servo opened on December 23 and has been very popular since.
It has given the corner of Myer Street and the Esplanade a real lift after the site was vacant for many years.
“The renovation has been done in a way to pay homage to the site’s past history as a service station with many signs, oil prices etc. giving it authenticity,” Mick Haber, from The Servo, said.
“When we were sanding back the brick work, we came across an old Esso sign which we have retained.”
Beach goers are enjoying coming off the beach into a relaxed venue for a refreshment.
