Holding up against virus

Motels and caravan parks are reporting there has been no major rush to leave Lakes Entrance or cancel bookings relating to the increase in COVID numbers in the town and surrounding areas.
Michelle Majcherzak, who owns Cunninghame Shore Motel, feels most guests take the attitude that it is pretty much everywhere now, so why ruin your holiday?
“Our bookings have been solid these holidays, we haven’t had any cancellations due to COVID, it has been good,” Michelle said.
“We had a few guests disappointed there were no fireworks on New Year’s Eve and we have been reminding everyone to book if they plan to go out, particularly with the new distancing restrictions,” she said.
Koonwarra Caravan Park has been going along okay with no major cancellations, but have struggled with staffing.
