Lakes Entrance Aqua Park (LEAP) has formally received all the necessary approvals from government agencies and local community groups and is confident that the aqua park will open to the public before Christmas this year.
“We will be installing the anchoring system in late October and inflatable goods are scheduled to arrive in Australian soil in early December, ready for the park setup and opening in the second half of December, fingers crossed,” owner Will Yeap said.
LEAP is a new inflatable water theme park in Lakes Entrance situated on the cove at the end of Cunninghame footbridge. It covers a water area of approximately 2000 square metres. The giant inflatable obstacles are interconnected on top of the water to form several different courses.
Visitors, young and old, are challenged to climb, slide and tackle giant inflatable obstacles to stay on their feet, be active and have fun with their friends and families in a fully outdoor setup.
Once it is open, the park will operate daily other than Christmas day, from 10am to 8pm until the end of summer.
“Our website is live for people who would like to find out more about cost, session availability and ticket bookings,” Will said.
