Skidale Close Reserve is set for a major upgrade after securing $46,981 in state funding from the Regional Development Victoria Tiny Towns Fund.
Stage two of the reserve’s enhancement project is scheduled to begin in mid-August. The fresh injection of funds will deliver solar bollard lighting, safer pathway improvements and additional park seating to enhance safety and accessibility for local residents.
To accommodate construction, a partial closure of the reserve will be in place during the works, though alternative access pathways will be provided throughout the site.
Locals who championed the initial round of upgrades have already welcomed the transformation of the public space, with community enthusiasm building as the next phase gets underway.
