What’s for dinner?
ABC Kitchen Cabinet host Annabel Crabb was spotted in Lakes Entrance last week filming alongside Member for Gippsland Darren Chester.
Mr Chester confirmed he will appear in an upcoming episode of the popular ABC television series, but remained uncharacteristically tight-lipped about what was on the menu.
“Gippslanders will have to tune in to ABC television to see my recipe, but it does showcase locally sourced fresh food,” Mr Chester said.
“I’m proud of everything Gippsland produces, and this was a great chance to promote a few of our local delicacies.”
In the latest series of Kitchen Cabinet, Ms Crabb visits six very different members of Australia’s 48th Parliament, gaining a unique insight into the people behind the politics. Together, host and politician cook a meal, share a conversation and Ms Crabb brings dessert.
Kitchen Cabinet airs on the ABC at 8.30pm on Tuesdays, with the first three episodes — featuring Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Angus Taylor and Allegra Spender — currently available to stream on ABC iview.
The episode featuring Mr Chester is scheduled to air on Tuesday, August 25.
