The Lakes Entrance Amateur Basketball Association successfully formed its leadership team for the upcoming season following its annual general meeting last weekend.
Chloe Watson was elected to the role of president, stepping in to lead the association through its next chapter. She will be supported on the executive committee by Michelle Whelan as vice president, Tracey Le Maitre as treasurer, and Gabi Wright as secretary.
The incoming executive will be backed by a strong general committee consisting of Jamie O’Donnell, Daniele Mills, Linda Lyon, Sarah Lawrence and Danielle Milito.
Association representatives noted they were delighted to welcome several new faces to the committee ranks, while formally acknowledging the immense dedication, operational knowledge, and volunteer hours contributed by outgoing committee members.
The newly formed board said they look forward to building on the club’s strong foundations and continuing to deliver positive outcomes for all local players, families and community stakeholders.
