Last Tuesday saw the annual challenge match played between the Lakes Entrance and Orbost Croquet Clubs, competing for the Chris Eaton Memorial Trophy.
The trophy is contested each year to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease (MND), with this year’s event won by Lakes Entrance, 27 games to 15.
Following the entry fees and raffle, the day raised $429.
Three teams finished with three wins, with two also tied on hoop difference. On countback, Cory Schreuders and Fay Kleehammer were declared winners ahead of Reg Armstrong and Claire Boyd.
A great day was had by all, with plenty of laughter and a generous spread of food.
