Surf Life Saving Lakes Entrance has congratulated long-serving member David “Richo” Richardson on being awarded the National Medal for Service to Lifesaving.
The honour recognises more than 15 years of operational lifesaving service, during which Richardson has consistently completed at least 30 hours of patrol duties each year on local beaches.
A highly respected and dedicated member of the club, Richardson has contributed extensively to Surf Life Saving Lakes Entrance both on and off the sand. His service includes holding a number of key leadership and operational roles, including president, boat captain, board and ski captain, training officer and nippers co-ordinator.
In recognition of his long-standing commitment and contribution to the club, Richardson was also awarded Life Membership in 2025.
Members of Surf Life Saving Lakes Entrance have congratulated Richardson on receiving the National Medal, acknowledging his dedication, leadership and service to the community.
