An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for the Lake Tyers Beach Tavern was removed due to its condition, mainly due to age and deterioration from the salt air.
The Lakes Entrance Ambulance Auxiliary replaced the metal external cabinet with a plastic one in July 2024.
They then purchased a new Automated External Defibrillator, and it was installed in late November by the Lakes Entrance Ambulance Service.
Tony Carroll, from the Lake Tyers Beach Tavern, was pleased to have a replacement donated by the Lakes Entrance Ambulance Auxiliary.
There are three AED’s available for the public in the Lake Tyers Beach area.
The other two are located at the Lake Tyers Camp and Caravan Park and the Lake Tyers Beach Hall.
