Female Football Gipps-
land (FFG) and the Gippsland League formed a
partnership at last Wednesday night’s FFG annual general meeting.
It’s a landmark relationship that signals a new era for the female game in Gippsland.
This agreement cements a united approach to growing, strengthening and celebrating women and girls football across Gippsland.
By aligning competition delivery, pathways, coaching support, and game-day standards, the partnership creates a clearer, stronger, and more sustainable future for female players.
It ensures that girls entering the game today can see a coordinated pathway right through to senior football, backed by two organisations committed to lifting the quality and experience of the sport.
This is an exciting step forward for Gippsland, with FFG and the Gippsland League now moving in lock-step, the female game is positioned for its biggest period of growth yet, opening new opportunities
for clubs, creating better environments for players, and elevating women and girls football right across the region.
