Float is hosting an art and coffee gathering with free, informative workshops this Sunday, November 30, at Iceworks in Lakes Entrance.
Iceworks, a gallery and makers space on Carpenter Street, will come alive with a diverse range of presentations, demonstrations, and workshops showcasing the vibrant local art scene.
The event will feature first-time exhibitor Amy Allender with her BAD art, Josie Jakobi discussing her work, Anlie Bakes’ delicious cookies, and the Sea Hags joining their weaving friends. Barry Ashton will demonstrate copper beating and forming, while Mill Point Pottery and Float Artist in Residence Angie Spice will be at the drawing table. Visitors can also enjoy venison snags from Chad, Lee Nickless projections, and Trudy Sady’s popular artworks.
Sam Thomas will also demonstrate the possibilities of the Maker’s Space.
All are welcome to attend from 8am to 1pm, whether to observe or participate.
