Last Friday, October 24, Lakes Entrance Secondary College farewelled the Class of 2025 with a graduation dinner at the Albert and Co Function Centre, bringing together students, families, friends and staff to celebrate the end of 13 years of schooling and the many achievements along the way.
The evening began with a delicious meal enjoyed by all, before the outgoing school captain Jacqulyn Shankland and Aivah Neilson addressed the audience. Both students reflected warmly on the shared experiences, friendships, and challenges that defined the group’s journey through school. They also expressed heartfelt thanks to teachers, support staff, families and friends for their unwavering support, encouragement and care throughout the years.
Guests then enjoyed the year 12 video, which captured the highlights, humour and memories of the graduating class and brought plenty of laughter and reflection to
the room.
Following dessert, the elegantly dressed students were individually presented to the audience, crossing the floor in their formal attire to receive a parting gift from the college.
The school said the evening was a wonderful celebration of the dedication, perseverance and spirit of this year’s graduates.
It marked both the conclusion of their secondary education and the beginning of exciting new chapters ahead, a night to remember for all
who attended.
