Four Bairnsdale Field Archery members recently competed at the Boola Valley Field Archers, Gippsland Branch shoot at Morwell.
Terry Chatfield had a rock-solid day,
shooting identical scores for both rounds and notching up a new personal best for the venue by two points.
David Hattan came out firing, matching his “3a” personal best in the morning and finishing with a new Boola Valley personal best by a whopping 26 points.
Graeme Parkinson stepped up for his first official Longbow Modern score at this venue.
The score might not have hit where he wanted, but his team spirit and good vibes were right on target on his return to the competition.
Zoe Standford attended her first official graded shoot and you couldn’t wipe the smile off her face.
All that practice and teamwork really paid off, the confidence shining through.
Next up for the crew are the Victoria State ABA Championship at Colac Otway this weekend.
