Unfortunately, due to unavailability, Lakes Entrance had to forfeit its Bairnsdale Cricket Association “B” grade fixture against Buchan last Saturday.
This week they are drawn to play Lucknow at the Lakes Entrance Recreation Reserve from 1pm.
There were mixed results for the Seagulls in the under 13 division two competition, with the White side successful and the Maroon side going down.
The White side finished on 7/57 in pursuit off Meerlieu’s 5/42.
Kade Watson top-scored for White, making 13 before being run out.
There were four wicket takers – Ben Calleja (1/2), Watson (1/1), Jesse Downing (1/3) and August Neal (1/1).
Buchan batted first in the other match, making 2/95 from its 20 overs, wickets shared between Chloe Walker (1/6) and Lucas Walker (1/11).
In reply the Maroon side reached 5/63 with Lucas Walker top scoring with eight not out.
In this Friday night’s matches, the White side plays Bruthen Red at the Bruthen Recreation Reserve, while the Maroon side will host Bruthen Black at St Brendan’s.
