Lakes Entrance Amateur Basketball Association (LEABA) is excited to announce it has received funding from Basketball Victoria to deliver a women’s Coaching Mentor Program.
The program is a key initiative that reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to investing in coaches.
The exclusive program offers group mentoring for up to 10 women from an experienced and accredited coach.
This program will run from October to December 2025, with most sessions held online to ensure flexibility and accessibility.
Expressions of interest are now open, with LEABA encouraging women aged 16 and over to apply, who are looking to transition from roles such as player, parent, or team manager into coaching.
Alternatively, they could already be coaching and be looking to elevate their skills and confidence or are interested in coaching at representative level in the future.
Participants can expect to gain practical coaching skills, a stronger understanding of the game and ongoing support and connections from the group.
