Toorloo Arm Primary School held their annual Writer’s Festival recently with a packed house enjoying the students’ poems and stories.
Principal Alli Hopkins congratulated all the students on their writing and presented certificates to selected students for their shortlisted stories before announcing the winners and runners-up for each grade.
The children had time to read their work to their family and friends in small reading circles with many cheers being heard.
The Writer’s Festival has been conducted at Toorloo Arm for many years and is a
real acknowledgement of the student’s
work ethic.
