Lakes Entrance Football Netball Club’s under 17.5 football side is through to the East Gippsland Football Netball League grand final after defeating Lindenow in last Saturday’s qualifying final at Bairnsdale City Oval.
The Seagulls ran out 51-39 winners and will enjoy a week off, before tackling Lindenow or Orbost Snowy Rovers in the 2025 decider.
There was disappointment for Lakes
with both netball sides being defeated in their assignments.
The under 17 team went down in an outstanding match 25-23 to Wy Yung, however it does have the double chance and will now have to beat Stratford this Saturday at the Bairnsdale City Oval for another shot at the Tigers for ultimate glory.
The Seagull under 13 side bowed out in the elimination final, going down to Lindenow 33-18.
