The better weather brought the anglers out last weekend with some nice results achieved.
Lakes Entrance: Bream are around biting on prawn, shrimp and spider crab. Bullock Island is also having good results using pipis and blue bait. Surf beaches for salmon taking metal lures and pilchards, with flathead being landed off Eastern Beach.
Lake Tyers: With a helping hand the entrance is now open with nice-sized bream and flathead around.
Metung: Boxes Creek, Chinamans Creek, the marina, rock wall, town jetties and Shaving Point are all active spots.
