Bairnsdale West Primary School is inviting the school community to come together to reflect, learn and share powerful student work from The Real History of Australia unit as part of its Reconciliation Week event on Friday, June 6 from 10am.
Featuring class-designed banners, student voice, choir performances (including Gunaikurnai translations) and special guests including Aunty Dr Doris Paton — this event honours truth-telling, empathy and reconciliation.
The school’s external fence will display student banners from Monday, June 2 to Thursday, June 5 as part of Reconciliation Week.
All community members are invited to attend.
