Last Wednesday’s Glady May Cup was taken out by Di Dickson and Karen McKenna, their score good enough to take “A” grade and the overall event.
As always “B” grade was hotly contested with Anita Bertram and Sandi East sealing the deal with some crucial putts on the way home.
Last Tuesday in Young and the Rest of Us, Margaret Simpson was successful on countback from Margaret Ellis.
It was another competitive week at Ruthless and Toothless with 42 players teeing up, John Heaton taking “A” grade and David Kilpatrick “B” grade.
With plenty of members hitting the road, chasing the warmer weather, 78 players took to the picturesque course for Thursday medley stableford.
Overall winner and “C” grade victor was David Congalton with 38 points.
David Smythe was the winner of “A” grade with 37 points, will the Steve Dinham, also impressed taking “B” grade with 37 points as well.
Saturday was 4BBB stableford medley, with the overall winners, being the “B” grade combination of young guns, Kai Douglas and Connor Guillot with a sensational 46 points.
In “A” grade classy left hander Jamie Coates and veteran Shane Sproule prevailed with 36 points.
The scoring in “B” grade was very impressive, with several scores topping 40.
The Lakes Entrance Golf Course continues to be in amazing order.
