A junior fishing competition will take place on Easter Saturday in Lakes Entrance.
The event is open to youngsters 17 years and younger and is the brainchild of local 10-year-old Coen.
Fishing is his whole world and he would love to see many more kids get “hooked”.
He has put in a lot of time and effort to organise the Lakes Entrance Junior Fishing Competition simply to share his joy with others.
Check in begins from 7am at the Gippsland Lakes Fishing Club from 7am, with the competition commencing at 8am.
There will be three age
categories and a “better ability” category, with presentation and barbecue from 2.30pm.
The forecast is looking perfect with 20 degrees and little wind, what better way to spend your day exploring/fishing in Lakes Entrance.
