A special public meeting has been convened to discuss and inform the public about the need for a Lions Club in Lakes Entrance.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday, April 15, at the Mechanics Hall at 7pm and the local community is encouraged to attend.
Membership in the club has dwindled to just a few participating members and there is a strong possibility it will fold at the end of the financial year.
The purpose of the meeting will be to showcase Lions, in particular the Lions Club of Lakes Entrance, and to seek new members for the club.
The District Governor Elect of Lions District 201V3 will be present and members hope to see many interested people attending.
