The 2025 Lake Tyers Flathead Challenge was taken out by the LynchMob.
They finished on 1193 points, ahead of Team Slobbobia (1127), No Idea (1082), Anger Mangement (1079) and Rowdy Floyds (1014), who rounded out the top five.
The event was popular with 69 crews taking to Lake Tyers in search of an elusive flathead over one metre in length.
LynchMob had an excellent final day in very trying conditions, their daily bag a combination of mid 60 centimetre species enough to see them victorious.
Team Slobbobia were delighted with their effort, competing in their first event.
Organisers were delighted with how the event run, despite the weather presenting challenges.
They reported the finishing was surprising not too bad, though half the field
did struggled to tap into the fish.
There were reports of lots of fish in the 30 centimetre range, which is great for the future, and indicates their breeding.
The biggest fish landed were an 87 centimetre specimen on day one, and dual 82 centimetre fish on day two.
