Par was the order of the day last Wednesday for ladies day, with Julie Rowe coming out on top with a score of plus three, “B” grade was won by Jenny Stott, who carded plus two.

Thursday’s medley stableford event was won by “B” grade player and club captain Ashley Chester, who compiled 40 points in a great round, outpointing 71 other players.

Rob Sperring took “A” grade with 37, while “C” grade was won on countback by Geoff Preston with 37 points.

The club ladies’ foursome championship was recently completed over 27 holes with Renee Percival and Julie Rowe coming out on top with a sensational score of 131.

The handicap section was taken out by Sue Wilson and Marlene Holmes, while the 18-hole event saw Hayley Cotton and Jennifer Dowie the winners.

Wilson and Holmes backed up winning the other nine-hole event.
